In order to effectively increase the market supply during the festival, the Ministry of Commerce is cooperating with related parties from the 9th. The department carried out the 6th batch of 20,000 tons of frozen pork put in the central reserve. In addition, the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Finance will, in the near future, direct the central reserve of frozen beef and mutton to Qinghai, Ningxia, Tibet, Xinjiang, Gansu and other ethnic minority areas.

In September 2019, the China Reserve Center issued a notice on placing frozen pork in the central reserve three times two weeks before the National Day, totaling 30,000 tons. In December 2019, China Reserve Center put the central reserve frozen pork on the market four times on December 12, 19, 23, and 27, respectively, totaling 140,000 tons.
