In response to the problem of congestion at a few toll stations, the Ministry of Transport stated that in the work of removing stations and connecting to the grid, the Ministry of Transport has required each toll station to reserve at least one manual / mixed lane for the entrance and exit directions to meet the labor Toll vehicles need to pass. Why change? The main reason is that charging by model is conducive to improving traffic efficiency. Since 2004, in order to curb the problem of overloading and overloading trucks, China has begun to implement weighted charging for trucks, which has also played a certain limiting role. However, due to the need to stop and weigh trucks for toll collection, it affects the efficiency of trucks at the exit of expressways. So, after the change, is the charge high or low? The answer is either lower or higher, depending on the situation.
Prior to the reform, the transportation and other departments have issued notices requiring all places to take the weighted average of the total weight of freight and freight as an important basis to achieve "two guarantees": to ensure that the overall burden of truck tolls is not increased, and that the same tolled vehicles are in the standard The amount of transportation tolls under loading is not greater than the amount of tolls when weighing. That is to say, when the same truck is fully loaded with goods, the standard of charging by axle will definitely be lower than that by weight. In the case of half-load or even no-load trucks, the charge may be higher than before.
